The annual Innisfail Trade Show for 2012 is happening this weekend - April 20-21.
This is put on yearly by the Innisfail Chamber of commerce.

New Caucus Whip and Seniors Critic
On April 23 Kerry Towle was elected as the new MLA for the Innisfail-Sylvan Lake area and on May 1 she was appointed as the caucus whip and seniors critic for the Wildrose shadow cabinet.
Being as the Wildrose party is the official opposition party, Kerry Towle will be responsible for being the critic of the Seniors portfolio held by George VanderBurg, Associate Minister of Seniors. As the caucus whip, she will be responsible for dealing with issues and conflicts and ensuring party discipline among members of the caucus.
As the Alberta Legislation reconvenes during the coming months, many Albertans will be watching with great interest. |

Innisfail Recycles
The Town of Innisfail has initiated a Green Box Recycling program. All houses and duplexes within the Town have received Green Boxes along with a list of all acceptable recyclable items.
Any residents who have not received a Green Box can stop by or phone the Town Office, 403-227-3376. |

Town of Innisfail Summer Day Camps
The Town of Innisfail offers weekly summer camps with different themes each week. Some of the themes may be Survivor Week, Arts and Culture Week, Going Green Week, Emergency Services Week or Outdoor Adventure Week.
The camps run from July 2 to August 24, 2012 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
