Innisfail has very high quality schools. The two school districts for the Innisfail area are Chinook's Edge School Division and Red Deer Catholic School Division. Innisfail is also home to the Chinook's Edge School Division's main office. Innisfail Junior Senior High School is where the Grade 8 - 12 get their eduction. Innisfail Middle School is a fun place for the Grade 5 - 7 kids to learn and grow. John Wilson Elementary is where the Grade K - 4 children learn to read, write and get along with each other. St. Marguerite Bourgeoys is the Catholic School for grades Pre Kindergarten to Grade 9. They offer programs such as French Immersion and English as a Second Language. Innisfail is also home to the Innisfail Career High School and the Chinook Center School. A number of institutions of higher learning surround the community of Innisfail, such as Olds College and Red Deer College.
