Innisfail Alberta lies just west of Highway 2 on the Edmonton-Calgary corridor in the heart of central Alberta. It is 32 kilometers south of Red Deer and 117 km north of Calgary. In 2001, the town had a population of 6958 and acted as a service centre for 15,250 in the surrounding area. While Innisfail started off as an agricultural community, today most people do not work in jobs directly related to this activity, although agriculture still has a strong presence in the people and the feeling of the community.

Innisfail Alberta is home to many sports teams, community associations, businesses and other organizations.  Innisfail has a complete school system from k-12 on the same school grounds, as well as the Catholic schools system, a year round school and a career high school.

Innisfail Alberta is a beautiful place to live or visit - come check us out today.
